Jean Tabary
Workshop - Wadowice, Poland
The town of Wadowice, the home town of the late Pope John
Paul II, is the place where we helped to set up our engineer
in advanced materials to create a shop producing bows and
other products for the stringed instrument sector. The
Apprentice, Prism and Tabary line of carbon bows are famous
to many in the trade. It started 7 years ago with a high
quality bow for violin, the Tabary. Soon a viola, cello and
bass bow were added. From there we moved to the student bow
market where the need for a consistently good stick was
impossible to satisfy with wood bows. The Prism is available
in many colors and sizes. Later, a lower priced version
called the Apprentice was added.
Recently a new line of carbon fiber products was developed.
The Tabary Twist endpin for cello and bass is an innovative
product, modern and sleek in appearance, and described by
some as the most amazing endpin ever produced. Now available
in carbon fiber and aluminum. New products in advanced
materials are steadily being developed - watch our "News"
page. |
